Edward J. Cooper Sr., 85, of Lukes Way passed away on April 11, 2014 at the Cooley Dickinson Hospital. He leaves his wife Louise M. (Cote) Cooper, his sons Edward J. Cooper Jr. and his wife Diane of Conway and David M. Cooper and his wife Susan of Canaan, NH, his sister Mary Rafferty of Norwood, MA. Edward is predeceased by his first wife Janet (Lenkowski) Cooper who passed away in 1981. His funeral will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at the Boucher-O'Brien Funeral Home, 7 Pleasant Street, Easthampton followed with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of The Valley Church, 33 Adams Street, Easthampton. Burial with Military Honors will be in St. Stanislaus Cemetery. Calling hours are Monday from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Our Lady of The Valley Church Beautification Fund, 33 Adams Street, Easthampton, MA 01027 or to the charity of one's choice.
