Janellen Farris

Janellen Farris, 65, formerly of Salem, VA and Miami, FL, passed away Nov. 5, 2014. She was a loving sister to Jeanne and Mark Elin, Longmeadow, MA, aunt to Katherine and Tim Farris, Stephen, Jessica, and Andrew Elin, and sister-in-law to Elizabeth Farris. Janellen loved misic, art, nature and animals, and old movies. She went to college and worked in real estate in Miami, FL then moved to Salem, VA in 1980 and worked for the Park and Recreation Dept. for 30 years, retiring in 2010. Calling hours will be on Sunday, Nov. 9th from 1-3pm, at Byron Keenan Funeral Home, 1858 Allen St. Springfield. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to the charity of your choice in Janes memory would be appreciated.
