Mary Gagliarducci Obituary
1925 - 2013
AGAWAM
Mary L. (Subotin) Gagliarducci, 88, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013 at home. Born in Agawam, daughter of the late Lucas and Adela (Slota) Subotin, she was a lifelong resident and a graduate of Agawam High School. Mary was a librarian for over twenty years for the City of Springfield in the Pine Point section of Springfield. She also was a volunteer at Baystate Medical Center for twenty years. She was active in the Agawam Garden Club and a member of the Agawam Senior Center. She leaves a son, George R. Gagliarducci, Jr. of West Palm Beach, FL, a daughter, Adella M. Fiori of South Windsor, CT, two grandchildren, Martin Fiori and Laura St. Jean and four great-grandchildren. The funeral will be Friday at 11am at the Agawam Funeral Home, 184 Main Street followed by burial in Agawam Center Cemetery. Calling hours will precede the service from 10-11. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Fiori Scholarship Fund, in memory of John Martin Fiori, c/o Martin Fiori, 12 Lefoll Boulevard, South Windsor, CT 06074.

My condolences to the Mrs. Gagliarducci's family. I have such fond memories of working with Mrs. Gagliarducci at the Winchester Square Library. She was one of the librarians and I was a page at the time. Mrs. Gagliarducci was a wonderful person. She was always very nice to the young people who worked at the library.

Aunti Mary - I will miss you so much. I remember fondly all the times when I was small. You were so nice, pretty and full of life. I didn't get to visit you as much as I would have liked, but the times I did were very enjoyable. You had such strength.

I was very saddened to read of Mary's passing. I visited with her just last week, when I delivered a prescription. She was a dear lady and I shall miss her. I offer my condolences to her family.
