Goldie I. Breisch
Goldie I. Breisch, 98, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2012 in the Mary Ellen Convalescent Home, Hellertown. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Esther M. (Latchaw) Hetherington. She was a member of Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, Allentown. Goldie was a founding member of the Mountainville Memorial Association and former President of their Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star Mary Livingston Chapter as well as a Gray Lady. Survivors: Son, Donald Breisch and wife Lorraine of Fayetteville, NC; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. Goldie was predeceased by her husband, Ralph Breisch, Sr. in 1990; a son, Ralph, Jr.; a daughter, LaRue Dolly Sicher; and a brother, Emroy Hetherington. Services: Private graveside service at St Marks Cemetery, Allentown. The K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Inc., Allentown is handling the arrangements.

My sympathy to Donald and his family for the loss of his mother. I knew the Breisch family for many years from Trinity Memorial Church in Allentown. I was also a school mate of Donald at the Wilson School.
