Irene L. Kline
Irene L. Kline died December 2, 2012 in Boynton Beach, FL at the age of 103. Born on April 18, 1909 in Allentown PA to the late Joseph C. and Florence Newcomer and married to Garfield P. Kline for 66 years until his death in 2002. Long time member of Asbury United Methodist Church of Allentown, avid bowler well into her eighties, and served as a volunteer at the Allentown Hospital for many years prior to relocating to Florida in 1992. Survivors: Survived by son, Philip G. Kline (Rosalind), of Boynton Beach, FL; four grandchildren, Linda I. Solti (Henry), of Largo FL, Philip G. Kline, Jr. (Diane), of Quakertown, PA, Becky R. Kline of Sunrise, FL, and Eric W. Brunner (Gina), of Willow Grove, PA. Also survived by six great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; sister, Eleanor Ketterer of Coply, PA; and a number of nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters, Marion Wieder and Evelyn Schaffer; and brother, Howard Newcomer. Services: Burial will be private.
