John J. Jack Liscka, Jr., 78, of Schnecksville, died Thursday, December 13, 2012 in his home. He was the husband of Janice L. (Nothstein) Liscka. The couple celebrated their 56th wedding anniversary last November 3. Born in Allentown, October 15, 1934, Jack was the son of the late John J. Sr. and Florence L. (Reinert) Liscka. Jack was president of Imperial Auto Sales & Service in Schnecksville, which he owned and operated with his son, Mark, since 1978. He was a member of Union United Church of Christ, Neffs. He will be forever remembered as a loving husband, devoted father, caring grandfather, and loyal friend. In addition to spending time with his family, Jack loved traveling with friends and tending to his yard. Survivors: In addition to his wife, Janice; children, Deborah A. Wenner and her husband, Richard, Roseann J. Horn and her husband, George, Mark J. Liscka all of Schnecksville; six grandchildren, Amber, Taylor, Paige, Blaire, Jonathan, and George; three great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Cole, and Jax; aunts; cousins. Services: Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Union United Church of Christ, 5550 PA Route 873, Neffs. Family and friends may pay their respects from 9:30 to 11 a.m., Tuesday in the church. Interment will follow the service at Union Church Cemetery, Neffs. The Heintzelman Funeral Home, Inc. in Schnecksville is in charge of arrangements. Online expressions of sympathy may be recorded at www.heintzelmancares.com. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Union U.C.C. Memorial Fund and/or Lehigh Valley Hospice, both in care of the funeral home, P.O. Aunt Janice, Debbie, Rose, Mark and family - We are so sorry for your loss and understood too well how hard it is to say goodbye to a man that you loved so deeply.
