Dear Debbie and Family:
Please know how very much Walt will be missed. David always spoke so highly of him in their working relationship at Milliken. Everytime I saw Walt he was so happy and eager to tell me how and what you were doing and there was always a sparkle in his eye when he spoke about you and his girls. Please know how much David and I thought of Walt and what a sweet, kind and gentle disposition he always had. Dear Debbie & Denkowski family
I had the sincere pleasure to have known Walt for many years.
He was truly an exceptional person. He always spoke about his family with great pride - and always inquired as to how those in my family were doing. He was a good man.
Please know that he will be missed by all of us that have had the good fortune of having been associated with him professionally. Walt was a true professional in every sense of the word and while he will be greatly missed - he will be remembered with great fondness.

My deepest sympathy to the Denkowski family .My thoughts and prayer are with you and your family in this time of sorrow.

November 25, 2012

Debbie,

I am so very sorry for your loss but happy that Walt is finally at peace. He was a pleasure to work with, so kind and respectful. We managed to get together for lunch shortly before he fell ill. He spoke about you and the girls. We reminisced about our Hawk Mountain climb and how much fun we had at last year's Xmas party with all the past and present Milliken people. He was looking forward to doing it again this year. Unbeknownst to me, it would be the last time I would ever speak to Walt again. I will miss him and shall long remember what a good friend he was.
"When he shall die, take him and cut him out in little stars and he will make the face of heaven so fine that all the world will be in love with night and pay no worship to the garish sun."
