Charles F. Flok, 83, of Hellertown died September 27, 2012 in Geneva, IL. Born in Fountain Hill, he was the son of the late Joseph J. and Anna T. (Szapacz) Flok. Charles was a conductor on the Reading Railroad, Conrail for 37 years before retiring in 1990. He served his country honorably in the Army during the Korean War. Charles was a member of St. Theresa Catholic Church in Hellertown, the Hellertown American Legion and the Ukrainian Club in Allentown. Survivors: Surviving are his daughters, Roxanne, wife of Dr. Richard Decktor of Woodstown, NJ, Victoria, wife of Verne Orth of Bethlehem and Alexia, wife of James Kunkle of Geneva, IL; seven grandchildren, Joshua, Elizabeth, Blakeley and Zachary Decktor, Paige, Samuel and Gretchen Kunkle; and five great-grandchildren; a sister, Anna of Lansdale; and a brother, John of Coopersburg. Charlie was preceded in death by brothers, Joseph and Michael. Services: A memorial service will be celebrated with military honors at Union Cemetery, 85 Main St., Hellertown, Saturday, October 13 at 11 a.m. Contributions: May be made in his honor to Tick-Borne Disease Alliance, 244 Fifth Avenue, Suite 1450, New York, NY 10001.
