Bennett, Norbert - COPLAY  
Norbert E. Bennett, 91, formerly of Coplay, passed away September 26 at the home of his son. He was married to the late Eleanor E.(Gaumer) Bennett. Born in Coplay, he was the son of the late George and Stella (Walbert) Bennett. After 41 years of service, he retired as the audio-visual coordinator for the Whitehall-Coplay School District in 1990. A WWII veteran, he served as a sergeant in the U.S. Army. He was a member of Trinity UCC Church, Coplay and was the first lay minister in the Northeast UCC Conference. Survivors: Son, David L. and wife Victoria of Macungie; grandsons, Wade, Christopher, and David A. Services: Viewing from 11:00 a.m. to Noon, Friday, September 30, Robert A. Benson, Cornelious - Allentown  
Cornelious J. Benson, 87, of Allentown, passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at home. She was the wife of the late James B. Benson. Born in Kentucky, she was a daughter of the late Jackson and Louise (Mimms) Randolph. Before retiring she worked for Climax Specialties Clothing for 30 years. She was a member of Union Baptist Church, Allentown. Survivors: sons, Fred, Eddie and Louis; daughter Sabrina; 16 grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was predeceased by daughter Debbie Wright and 11 other children Services: 11:00 am Friday, September 30, 2016 at Union Baptist Church 302 N. 6th. St., Allentown. Csencsits, Bernard - Northampton  
Bernard A. Csencsits, 77 of Northampton, PA. died Tuesday, September 27, 2016, at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Muhlenberg Campus in Bethlehem, PA. Born May 26, 1939 in Whitehall, PA, he was the son of the late Louis and Emma (Schwartz) Csencsits. He was the husband of Mary Ann (Stoisits) Csencsits with whom he shared 52 years of marriage this past July 4, 2016. Bernie was a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School who went on to work for the Exide Corporation of Allentown for 31 1/2 years before retiring in 1993. A member of Queenship of Mary R.C. Church, Northampton, PA; Long time member of the former St. Joseph's Sick and Beneficial Society where he was treasurer for over 25 years. He also was a member of the in house bowling league, the traveling league, and served as a YABA, Jr. bowling coach for many years. A life member of Tri-boro Sportsmen Club, Northampton. In his retirement years, he worked part time as a funeral assistant for the Schisler Funeral Home for 6 years. Survivors: wife; Mary Ann; sister-in-law; Jean wife of Jack Druckenmiller, and brother-in-law; Richard Stoisits both of Northampton, niece Jill and nephew Jason and wife Stefani and great-nephew Jase; sister; Janet Yost of New Tripoli, PA, and nephews Ronald, Trevor, and Kevin. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00 PM on Friday September 30, 2016 at Queenship of Mary Catholic Church, 1324 Newport Avenue, Northampton, PA. 18067. The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM prior to the Mass in the church. Interment will follow in Our Lady of Hungary Cemetery, Northampton, PA. Deifenderfer, Robert - Allentown  
Robert B. Deifenderfer, 74 of Walnutport died Monday September 26, 2016 in his home. Born in Tamaqua, he was the son of the late Burton and Neva Deifenderfer. Robert served in the USMC from 1958-1964. He worked as a design drafter for PP &L for 32 years before retiring. Survived by son; Michael R. Deifenderfer of Walnutport. Granddaughter; Jasmine Marie. Jean M. DiLeo, 88, of Allentown, died Sept. 27, 2016 at Phoebe Home, Allentown. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Edward and Marie (Murphy) Shada. Jean was the loving wife of the late Frank J. DiLeo, Jr. until his death in 1982. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Allentown. Survivors: Daughters, Nancianne Bushner and her husband Stanley and Sandra DiLeo and her husband Dennis Bernhard; sons, Frank DiLeo and his wife Cheryl Reichley and Anthony DiLeo and his wife Robin Weaver; brother, James Shada; grandchildren, Michael, Kristina, Frank, and Kelly; great-grandchildren, Stephen and John; many nieces and nephews. Margaret C. Fegley, 95, of Zionsville, died Sept. 23, 2016. Born in Dillingersville, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Deutsch) Antler. She worked for Collegeville Flag Factory, Rodale, and Saucony Shoe. Foremost, she was a loving mom, grandma, great grandma, and great great grandma. Nancy L. Jaindl, 83 of Richlandtown formerly of Lords Valley, PA died on September 23, 2016 at Phoebe Richland Health Care Center. Wife of the late Roy S. Jaindl, they were married 59 years when he died on December 26, 2014. Nancy was born in Allentown daughter of the late Harry and Ann (Burian) Zimmerman. She was a Registered Nurse at Sacred Heart Hospital, Allentown Osteopathic and Abington Memorial Hospital for many years retiring in 1991. Survivors: Her daughter Sue LaPenta, wife of Chris of Plymouth Meeting; sons Roy S. "Rob" Jaindl, II, husband of Linda and Rick S. Jaindl, husband of CJ all of Quakertown; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sister Marcia wife of Truman Koehler of Charlotte, NC.
