Takach, Kathy Sue Kathy Sue Takach, 51, formerly of Hellertown, died Thursday, May 28, 2015 at Good Shepherd Specialty Hospital, Bethlehem. She was born in Bethlehem on September 27, 1963 to Robert G. and Jean A. (Smith) Rowe of Bethlehem. She had worked for a Temp Agency at Martin Towers, Bethlehem for several years and previously worked at the former Dan's IGA, Hellertown. She is a member of Lehigh Valley Grace Brethren, Bethlehem. Survivors: In addition to parents; sons: David J. Petko of Warsaw, IN, Zachary R. Takach of Bethlehem Twp.; sisters: Wendy A. (Mark) Wargo of Bethlehem, Tammy L. (Glenn) Snyder of Hellertown; grandson: Aiden Petko. Predeceased by her son: Tyler R. Takach (died Jan. 15, 2010). Services: Family and friends are invited to call 10 -11 a.m. Monday, June 1, 2015 at Lehigh Valley Grace Brethren, 580 Bridle Path Rd., Bethlehem, followed by the service at 11 a.m. Interment will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem. Toth, Diane M. - Allentown  
Toth, Diane M. Diane M Toth, 72, of Allentown, passed away May 27, 2015 in St. Luke's Hospital Allentown, PA. She was married to the late Edward Toth and is the daughter of the late Anthony and Eleanor (Lehman) Shurilla. Diane worked as an administrative assistant at the former Bell of Pennsylvania in Allentown for 30 years before retiring. She enjoyed traveling in the U.S. and overseas and spending time with the family. She was a member of the Cathedral St Catharine of Siena for 72 years. Survivors: Sister: JoAnne Conroy of Allentown Brothers: Anthony Shurilla of Alburtis, Donald Shurilla of Whitehall, Wayne Shurilla of Langhorne Several Nieces And Nephews Predeceased by her brother, Richard Shurilla Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, June 1 at 10:00 am at Cathedral St. Catharine of Siena Church, 18th & Turner Sts., Allentown. Tracey, Marie C. - Bethlehem  
Tracey, Marie C. Marie C. Tracey, 73, of Bethlehem, passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2015 at St. Luke's Hospice House, Lower Saucon Twp. She was the wife of Harold R. Tracey. They celebrated 52 years of marriage last September. Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Josephine (Schiffer) Harris. During Marie's lifetime she was employed by Pleasant Hollow Farms in Coopersburg, Bell & Howell in Hanover Twp., Vistacom in Allentown and several local businesses and schools. She was a member of the Bethlehem Garden Club and a Penn State Extension Master Gardener. Survivors: surviving with her husband Harold are her daughters, Pamela Swiggard, her husband, Timothy and their daughters, Kimberly Marie and Alison Elizabeth of Phoenixville, PA. and Patricia Gertner, her husband, Stephen and their children, Sarah Marie and Stephen Matthew of Chesepeake, VA and a brother, Timothy Harris and his wife Ann of Bath. Trexler, Irene Jane - Macungie  
Trexler, Irene Jane Irene Jane (Mellin) Trexler, 89, of Hamburg passed away on Sunday, May 24th, in her residence She was the wife of the late Lewis Pharoh Trexler who died December 9, 1997. They had 50 years of marriage together. Born in Bethlehem, PA on January 25, 1926, she was a daughter of the late Anna (Zsganyar) and Michael Mellin, natives of Yugoslavia. In the past Irene worked at Bethlehem Steel Co. as a Teletype Operator. She met her husband and became a farmers wife. She was owner/operator of Bona Vista Farm in Hamburg for 54 years. She retired from Hamburg Knitting Mills in 1988 where she was a sewing machine operator for 15 years. She was a member of St John's Windish Lutheran Church of Bethlehem, PA. Survivors: son, Lewis P. Trexler Jr., of Mahanoy City, PA 3 daughters, Marilyn A. Trexler, of Hamburg, PA, Marlene R. Trexler, of Reading, PA, and Melanie J. Rubright wife of Brian Rubright of Leesport,PA. 3 grandchildren, Lewis P. Trexler III, Richard Trexler and Nicole L. Kmetz and 6 great grandchildren. Three beloved dogs, Bodie, Snoopy, and Zoie. She was preceeded in death by siblings Ernest Mellin, Ethel Pireda, Lillian Zrinski and Mary Gombocz. Services: Graveside, 11:00 AM Wednesday, June 3rd at St Michael's Church Cemetery, 529 St. Michaels Road Hamburg, PA.

Turner, Doris M. - Coopersburg  
Turner, Doris M. Doris M. Turner (nee Schmeltzle) died May 26 in St. Luke's Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Born April 11, 1929, she was a daughter of Esther (nee Touhey) and H. Frederick Sheler of Bangor. Doris was predeceased by husband, Paul, in 2001. Doris was a dedicated worker and was employed in many jobs in her lifetime, most recently at K-Mart, Quakertown. Her biggest sense of professional pride came through earning her nurse's license and serving the aged in a private nursing home in Saylorsburg. Her happiest moments came when her family was all together, visiting her and enjoying each other. Doris will be greatly missed by her family, friends and her many pets, whom she loved dearly. Doris' family is grateful for the wonderful care she received at St. Luke's/DaVita Dialysis Center, Quakertown. Survivors: Daughters, Darlene Keiper of Florida, Belinda Matlock of Allentown, and Maria Williams (Aubre) of Quakertown, with whom she resided; Sons, Kerry Matlock (Becky) of New York, Kevin Matlock (Jamie) of Allentown, 16 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and an estranged son, Keith Matlock. She is also survived by a niece, Patrice Kidd (Rev. David), a nephew, Eric Young (Lisa) and many friends. Her sister, Mary R. Young, predeceased her in 2010. Services: A service of remembrance will be held on Sunday, May 31 at 5 p.m. at the Norcross/Weber Funeral Home, 101 N. Main St., Coopersburg. The Rev. David P. Kidd will officiate.
