Albert A. Wagner, 86, of Allentown, died Friday, March 7, 2014 in Cedarbrook, South Whitehall Township. He was the husband of the late Ruth L. (Holler) Wagner. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Rudolph and Katherine (Preissler) Wagner. Albert was a 1945 graduate of Central Catholic High School and was a Navy Veteran of World War II. When he returned home from the military, he began working at RCA Service Company, Allentown. He retired in 1987 as branch manager after 37 years of dedicated service. He was a member and had served as a lector at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown. He was a 4th Degree Knights of Columbus, member of the Mercantile Club, Emmaus and the Cetronia Fire Company. He was a former coach for the Alton Park Youth Baseball League. Albert enjoyed a game of golf and had several holes in one. He loved karaoke and had a passion for country music, his favorite artist being the late George Jones. Albert treasured his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Survivors: Sons, Daniel Wagner and his wife Eva of Kutztown, Michael J. Wagner and his wife Donna of Allentown; brother, Aloysius Wagner of Allentown; four grandchildren; two great grandchildren. He was predeceased by siblings, Anna Steiner, Carl A. Wagner and Alfred Wagner. Services: Private. There are no calling hours. Arrangements by J.S.
