Bertha D. Mundy, of North Wales, previously of Quakertown, died Friday in her home. She was the wife of Charles L. Mundy with whom she celebrated 57 years of marriage on December 10. Born in Richland Township, Bucks Co. she was a daughter of the late Eugene S. and Minnie (Detweiler) Afflerbach. She was the last survivor of fourteen children. She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Richlandtown. Bertha was recognized as a loving caregiver by family and friends by assisting in the care of numerous siblings and friends. Survivors: Surviving with her husband; daughter, Linda Schiele, husband, Jim of North Wales; numerous nieces; nephews; grandnieces; grandnephews; and godson, Stanley Honeybone. Services: Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, December 19 in the Jeffrey A. Naugle Funeral & Cremation Service, 135 W. Pumping Station Rd., Quakertown. www.janauglefcs.com.
