Burrell Joseph Brown, 82, of Wildwood, FL died September 13, 2012 in Leesburg, FL. Born in Fountain Hill, B.J. was the son of the late Joseph B. and Ruth L. (Schaffer) Brown. He was a 1948 graduate of Emmaus High School where he was All Lehigh Valley League in football. B.J. was a Marine Corps Korean War
veteran (1948-1952) and received a Purple Heart
Medal. He graduated from the University of Tampa in 1956 where he played football. B.J. was employed by the General Telephone Company of Florida as a community relations coordinator in Tampa. He retired as a realtor in Florida. Survivors:
Former wife, Katharine Stoll Barker; daughters, Trish (Johnny) Vernazza in California, Kathy (John) Carroll in Georgia; son, Patrick (Haley) Brown in California; grandchildren, Peyton and John Carroll, Cooper and Grace Brown; brother, Robert Mike (Mary) Brown of Allentown; cousins, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brother, William; sister, Sarah Sally Brown; nephew, Jim Brown. Services:
