Charles Chuck M. Kinek, 57, of S. 8th S., Allentown, died Wednesday morning, February 6, 2013, in his home. He was the husband of the late Robyn Texter-Kinek who passed in 2005. Born in Palmerton, he was the son of the late Charles Kinek, and Mrs, Helen (Krayowski) Kinek of Palmerton. Charles was owner/operator of Kinek A/C and Refrigeration Co., Allentown for several years. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, Palmerton. A 1973 graduate of Palmerton High School, he later served in the US Marine Corps, Vietnam Era, achieved rank of Sargent. Survivors: Mother; sister, Kathryn A. Horner of Marlton, NJ; aunt, Kathryn Schiavone of Nazareth; four nieces; three nephews; several great-nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by sister, Judith H. Misage in 2006. Services: 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, Sts. Peter and Paul Byzantine Catholic Church, 715 Church St., Palmerton, PA 18071.
