Dale Martin Sell
Dale Martin Sell, 82, of Slatington, died Saturday, October 6, 2012 in the home of his daughter, Brenda Saras, of Zionsville. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late John Jacob Sell, Jr. and Dorothy Katherine (Nagle) Sell. A 1948 graduate of William Allen High School, he learned the skills of an electrician and attained the rank of Corporal, while serving in the United States Marine Corps
. A Korean War
Veteran, Dale served on the aircraft carriers, USS Bennington and USS Midway. A general contractor and cabinet maker by trade, he owned and operated Dale M. Sell and Sons, Coopersburg, before retiring in 2006. Previously, he owned and operated E.B.s Steak Shop, Allentown. He was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church, Hellertown. Survivors:

Sell of Slatington, Shirley wife of Paul Middleton of Coopersburg, Robert Sell of NJ; siblings, Lee Wayne husband of Shirley Sell of Alabama, Barbara Ann wife of Olauf VanTilborg of California, Gary Thomas husband of Sue Sell of Allentown; 18 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Funeral Service, 2 p.m., Friday, in the J.S. Burkholder Funeral Home, 16th and Hamilton Sts., Allentown. Call 1 to 2 p.m., Friday, in the funeral home. Interment in Highland Memorial Park, Allentown. Contributions:
