Demetra Dee Baxevane, 83, of Bethlehem died on November 15, 2012 at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Muhlenberg. The wife of the late Charles N. Baxevane, who died 2003. Demetra was born in Limnos, Greece, daughter of the late Nicholas and Malama (Carageorgorikas) Macronis. She was an assembler at B. Braun and Just Born. Demetra was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Bethlehem. Survivors:

Baxevane of Jamison, PA; granddaughter, Nicole Mavis of Morganville, NJ; sisters, Elli Argeros of Bethlehem, Eleftheria Mouskalias of Australia, and Mary Kriaris of Limnos, Greece; brother, Peter Marconis of Limnos, Greece. Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at 11:30 a.m. in St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Cathedral, 1607 West Union Blvd., Bethlehem, viewing 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the church. Burial in Bethlehem Memorial Park Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are by the John F. Herron Funeral Home in Bethlehem. Contributions:
