Donald E. Misera
Donald E. Misera, 74, of Emmaus, passed away on December 17, 2012 at St. Lukes Hospital, Allentown. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late Paul S. and Margaret H. (Rokosny) Misera. Donald was employed by Exide Battery Co., Emmaus for 30 years until retiring as a supervisor. He then worked at Graham Security Police. He served in the Marine Corps during the Vietnam War and was also a member of the Macungie VFW and its golf league. Donald was a member of St. Anns Catholic Church, Emmaus, and was also a member of the Board of Governors at Unami Gun Club, Emmaus. Survivors: Brother-in-law, Thomas J. Cougle; nephews, Stephen E. Cougle and his wife, Christine, Jason T. Cougle and his wife, Debra, and Jeffrey P. Cougle; numerous cousins. Donald was predeceased by his sister, Virginia L. Cougle, who passed away in 2009. Services: Friday, 10:15 a.m. at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm Street, Emmaus, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Anns Catholic Church. A viewing will be held in the funeral home from 9 to 10:15 a.m. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Contributions: Emmaus Veterans Association, 316 Main St., Emmaus, PA 18049.
