Frederick W. Miller, Jr.
Frederick W. Miller, Jr., 82, of Schnecksville, died Tuesday, July 23, 2013, at The Phoebe Home, Inc. in Allentown. He was the husband of the late Etta A. (Lehr) Miller. Born in Skippack, Montgomery County, April 7, 1931, Fred was the son of the late Frederick W. Sr. and Lydia (Rupp) Miller. He faithfully and honorably served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Fred retired from Mack Trucks, Inc. in South Whitehall Township in 1992. Prior to that, he worked at Day-Timers in East Texas and the former Superior Combustion in Emmaus. He was a member of Chestnut Hill Church, Limeport. Survivors: Sister, Jean H. Iobst of Allentown; nephew, Thomas H. Iobst of Wynwood; niece, Ellen D. Iobst, wife of Stephen Dunbar, of Cincinnati, OH and their children, Bryn Iobst Dunbar and Owen Iobst Dunbar; predeceased by a niece, Janet L. Stortz. Services: A graveside service will be held 10:30 a.m., Friday, July 26, 2013, at Chestnut Hill Church Cemetery, 6870 Chestnut Hill Church Road, Coopersburg, with the Rev. John B. Binde officiating.
