Harold Al Azar, 91, passed away peacefully at his home in Coplay on Monday, June 24, 2013. He was the son of the late Shahod and Adelia Azar and the loving husband of Miriam Irish (Litzenberger) Azar. The couple celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on July 25, 2012. A proud WWII army
veteran, he was a staff sergeant in the 99th Infantry serving in the Battle of the Bulge. Harold was a member of the American Legion Post #426, Coplay. Retiring in 1986, he was a machinist for Phoenix Forging for 40 years. An avid sports fan, he enjoyed watching his beloved Eagles and Phillies. He was an active member of St. Johns Lutheran Church, Coplay. Survivors:
In addition to his wife; he is survived by a daughter, Connie, wife of Larry Rivers; grandchildren, Cheri, wife of Gino Schneider, Patrick Rivers and his wife, Kathy; great-grandchildren, Jaimie and Nick Schneider, Tianna and Patrick Rivers; brothers, George, William, and John. He was predeceased by siblings, Joe, Jim, and Margaret. Services:
