Helen I. Dunnavant
Helen I. Dunnavant, 81, of Bethlehem died on November 17, 2012 at the Hospice House of St. Lukes in Lower Saucon Township. Widow of the late Ernest E. Dunnavant who died in 1975. Helen was born in Hamburg, daughter of the late Oscar and Esther (Fisher) Henne. She was a seamstress for over 50 years. Helen enjoyed playing bingo. Survivors: Two daughters, JoAnn Korosecz of Allentown and Esther Buss, wife of Richard of Saylorsburg; two sons, Alan R. Dunnavnat and David C. Dunnavant, husband of Kristina both of Bethlehem; sister, Betty Carabello of Reading; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter, Deborah Smith; a son, Richard; and a sister, Ruth Redding. Services: Funeral Service on Wednesday, at 11 a.m. in the John F. Herron Funeral Home, 458 Center at Market Street, Bethlehem, viewing 10 to 11 a.m. in the Funeral Home. Burial in the Union Cemetery at Nisky Hill in Bethlehem.
