Irene (Huyter) Lippert, 97, of Bethlehem, PA passed away Saturday, November 10, 2012 at Manor Care Health Services in Bethlehem. Born September 14, 1915 in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary (Horvath) Huyter. She was the wife of the late Joseph G. Lippert. Irene worked at Moravian College for over 20 years as the Cafeteria Supervisor. She was an excellent cook and baker and would often help with the Hungarian Club in Bethlehem. She was a member of the former St. John Capistrano Church and currently Our Lady of Perpetual Help. Survivors: Irene will be lovingly remembered by her son, Joseph Lippert and wife, Kathleen; daughter, Irene Karvoski; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brothers, John and Kalman Huyter; and a sister, Anna Knowles. Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 3219 Santee Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18020 at 1 p.m. A calling hour will be held in the church from 12 to 1 p.m. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery in Bethlehem.
