James J. Pacchioli, Sr.
James J. Pacchioli, Sr. 84, of Palmer Township, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2013, in the Easton Hospital. He was the husband of Angelina (Castellucci) Pacchioli. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary last May. James was born in Easton a son of the late Louis and Grace (Famularo) Pacchioli. James was a graduate of Easton High School Class of 1946, where he was a member of the Boys Basketball Team. After graduation he played for various other teams. He was a cook for the Howard Johnson Restaurant and the M & M Cafeteria in Hackestown NJ before retiring. Previously he owned and operated the Palmer Diner in the 1950s. James was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Easton. He was a U.S. Army

with the 28th Infantry Division of PA. Survivors:
Wife; son, James J. Pacchioli, Jr. of Los Angeles, CA; daughter, Debra A. wife of Richard J. Mohr, Jr. of Coopersburg; grandchildren, Kelcie and Dylan Mohr and many loving nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Joseph, Frank, Anthony, Fred, Daniel, Samuel, and Louis, Jr.; sisters, Lillian Pacchioli, Edith Serfass, Yolando Jiriolino, Gloria Doan and Mary Orsini. Services:
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m., Wednesday in the St. Anthony of Padua Church 9th and Lehigh Streets Easton. A calling period will be held from 9 to 10 a.m., Wednesday in the church. Interment with military honors will be in the Gethsemane Cemetery, Easton.
