James G. Jim Rundle, 66, of Bushkill Township, was stricken at home and suddenly passed away on Saturday, January 11, 2014, at the Anderson Campus of St. Lukes University Hospital, Bethlehem Township. He was the husband of Susan R. (Laubach) Rundle with whom he shared 42 years of marriage on September 18th. Born in Fountain Hill on July 21, 1947, he was the son of the late Earl and Kathleen (Gorman) Rundle. Jim graduated from Nazareth High School in 1965 and later attended Penn State University
earning a Bachelors Degree in Engineering. He recently retired in 2012 from Reeb Millwork in Fountain Hill. Previously, Jim was a machine operator for SKF Industries and, earlier, was employed by Cutler-Hammer, now Eaton Corporation, where he served for 26 years as an electrical draftsman. He was passionate about farming, enjoyed camping, and was a loyal Penn State Alumn and sports fan. Jim was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Nazareth where he sang on the mens choir and was a member of the senior choir, as well as a member of the St. Lukes Singers. He will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by his family and friends. Survivors:
In addition to his loving wife, Susan; he is survived by his cousins, Evelyn Kilpatrick and William Kilpatrick, Jr. and his wife, Shirley both of Nazareth; mother-in-law, Frances (Cumberland) Laubach of Bath; brother-in-law, Robert Laubach and his wife, Nancy of Nazareth; sisters-in-law, Maryann Boyko and her husband, Stephen of Bath and Laura Wales of Ohio; two nieces and five nephews. A memorial service in celebration of Jims life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2014, at 3 p.m. in the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, Village of Moorestown - Bath, PA 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Saturday afternoon from 2-3 p.m. in the funeral home.
