Jeffrey S. Schmeltzle
Jeffrey S. Schmeltzle, of Emmaus, who would have been 54 on March 29, 2013, died March 20, 2013 in Lehigh Valley Hospital. He was the husband of Kerry (Hauser) Schmeltzle, with whom he celebrated 20 years of marriage on January 16, 2013. Born in Allentown, he was the son of Robert R. Schmeltzle of Emmaus and the late Bertha (Reiss) Schmeltzle. He was self employed with his father at Carl Schmeltzle and Sons Salvage Yard, owned and operated a bike shop in Emmaus, and last worked at Mack Trucks, Inc. He was a mechanic by trade and an avid race car driver, driving car #54 at Grandview Speedway, Bridgeport Speedway, and Dorney Park, where he was track champion. He was a member of Emmaus Moravian Church, the Emmaus 4th Alarmers, Emaus Fire Company #1, Upper Milford Field and Stream, and the Alburtis Rod and Gun Club. Survivors:
