Joseph R. Beltzmann, 85, of Center Valley, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 30, 2013. He was born in Bethlehem; son of the late Joseph and Cecilia (Zeiner) Beltzmann. He was the loving husband of the late Dolores (Enright) Beltzmann who died in 2002. They were married 29 years. Joe was a machinist employed by the Bethlehem Steel and served as president of the United Steelworkers: Local 2599. He was an Army veteran having served during the Korean War. Joe enjoyed golfing and had been a longtime member of Silver Creek Country Club. He was an avid outdoorsman. Joe was a member of St. Elizabeths Catholic Church, Whitehall. Survivors: He is survived by his sister, Theresa A. Draper; niece, Donna, wife of Gary Wickham; nephews, Robin and Donald Fenstermaker; great-nieces, Erin Wickham Robbins and Anna Fenstermaker; and great-great-niece, Claire Cecilia Robbins. He was predeceased by his sister, Cecilia Fenstermaker. Services: A viewing will be held in the Connell Funeral Home, 245 E. Broad St., Bethlehem, on Saturday, December 7, from 10 to 11 a.m. A funeral service will follow, in the funeral home. Burial will be at Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem.
