Joseph E. Hansarick, 89, Camp Hill, after living a good life, entered into eternal rest on Friday, October 11, 2013. Born in Catasauqua, PA on April 23, 1924, son of the late Andrew and Mary (Burda) Hansarick. Joe was a 1941 graduate of Catasauqua High School, where he lettered in football. A veteran of World War II, he was a Corporal in the US Army Air Corps and served with the 52nd Bombardment Squadron in the 29th Bombardment Group. He was retired from the PA Department of Transportation where he was a materials engineer in the Materials and Testing Lab and in Quality Assurance. Joe was a member of American Legion Post #43 and the Church of the Good Shepherd, both in Camp Hill. Survivors: Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Marie (Bobowski) Hansarick; a daughter, Michele and her husband, Dana Sadarananda, Camp Hill; three grandchildren, Janelle and Melanie Sadarananda, both of Camp Hill and Cassidy Hansarick, Florida; also several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by two sons, Joey, who passed in 1960 and Jamie, who passed in 2002; two brothers, Andrew and Jack Hansarick; four sisters, Mary and Agnes Hansarick, Margaret Dobrowolski and Eleanor Hodges. Services: A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 17, 2013, in the Church of the Good Shepherd, Camp Hill. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, October 21, 2013, at the Holy Saviour Cemetery, Bethlehem, PA. Myers-Harner Funeral Home, Camp Hill, is handling arrangements. www. myers-harner.com.
