Joyce A. Johnson, 82, passed away Sunday, December 9 in Clare Bridge Dublin. Born April 4 1930 in Quakertown, PA, she was the biological daughter of the late Charles and Florence (Bearn) Stauffer. She was raised by adopted parents Alfred and Mildred (Biehn) Johnson. Joyce attended Kutztown State Teachers College, now Kutztown University in 1951 with a Bachelors Degree in elementary education. She taught for 35 years in Quakertown Joint schools, taught at former Lincoln & Franklin Schools, retiring from Neidig Elementary in 1986. She was a volunteer at the former Quakertown Community Hospital and St. Lukes Quakertown Hospital in the gift shop for over 30 years. Joyce was a member of First United Church of Christ, Quakertown and a former member of the church council. Survivors: She is survived by brother-in-law, Kenneth MacDonald of Springfield, MA; nieces, Kathy Lazaravich, husband Bob of Chandler, AZ, Margaret MacDonald of Englewood, CO; nephew, Stephen MacDonald; great nephews, Peter and Adam Lazaravich of AZ. She is pre-deceased by a sister Gloria. Services: Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. in the First United Church of Christ, 151 S. 4th Street, Quakertown, PA 18951 on Friday, December 14. Calling period will be from 10:30 until 11 a.m. in the church. Contributions: Memorial Contributions may be made to the First U.C.C Memorial Fund. The Jeffrey A.
