Lewis Hagadus, Jr.
Lewis J. Hagadus, Jr., 66, of Allentown, passed away Sunday, July 21, 2013 in Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Fountain Hill. Born in Allentown he was the son of the late Mary (Dolgos) and Lewis J. Hagadus, Sr. He was a graduate of William Allen High School. Lewis was an automotive mechanic for Kelly Ford, Bethlehem Suburban Ford and McCormick Transportation Bus Corporation for many years. He was a member of St. Stephen of Hungary Catholic Church, Allentown. Lewis was a life member of Fearless Fire Co. and served on the Board of Governors. He also was a life member of Mountainville Fire Co., a member of VFW Post 2124 and the Bocce Club of Allentown. He also used to race stock cars at Dorney Park. Survivors: Brother, Eugene Hagadus and wife Bonnie of Allentown; nephews, Paul L. Hagadus and wife Dee of Allentown; great-nephews, Colten Hagadus and Santino Zaffuto; great niece, Jadeyn Hagadus; god daughter, Kelly (Hagadus) Zaffuto and husband Paul of Pittston Twp.; aunt, Margaret R. Toth of Allentown; many cousins. Services: 11 a.m., Wednesday, July 24, 2013 Mass of Christian Burial at St. Stephens of Hungary Catholic Church, 510 W. Union Street, Allentown. A viewing for family and friends to be held 9:30-10:30 a.m. in the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Inc., 46 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown. Interment to follow in St. Marks Cemetery, Allentown.
