Linwood Raymond Kline
Linwood Raymond Kline passed away Friday, December 7, 2012. He was born February 27, 1920 in Bucks County, PA to Herbert and Isabella Kline. He served honorably in Alaska with the U.S. Army during World War II. He married Evelyn Irene Yons and moved to Allentown. He worked for Lehigh Valley Dairy and then for 10 years at Cotter & Co. He enjoyed woodworking and restoring antique furniture. Survivors: He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Evelyn; his daughters, Dianna Cardone and her husband Peter, Sharon Ande and her husband Michael, Cathy Moyer and her husband Richard, and Barbara Hilbert and her husband Kevin; grandchildren, Jed Ande and his wife Jennifer, Carrie Ande, Robert Cardone and his wife Tory, Daniel Cardone, Thomas Cardone, Nicholas Hilbert and Katelyn Hilbert. He is also survived by a son, David Schaffer; and two grandsons. He was predeceased by his sister, Margaret Freed, a son, Michael Kline and a daughter, Patricia Schaffer. Services: 1 p.m. Wed., Dec. 12, 2012 in Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A viewing will be from Noon to 1 p.m. Wednesday.
