Louis DiMiceli
Louis DiMiceli, 98, of Whitehall, died January 1, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Allentown. He was married to the late Antonina D. (Damiano) DiMiceli for 66 years. Born in Tickfaw, LA, he was the son of the late Biaggio and Frances (Spinnella) DiMiceli. He was a tool and dye operator for the former Western Electric Co., Allentown. A member of the American Legion Post #739, Hokendauqua, he was a WWII army veteran and the recipient of two bronze stars. He was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church, Coplay and its Holy Name Society. Survivors: Son, Blaise A. DiMiceli and his wife, Barbara, of Slatington; daughter, Frances Ann, wife of Walter Sajkowicz, of Whitehall; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Services: 9:30 a.m., Saturday, January 5, Robert A. Hauke Funeral Home, 327 Chestnut St., Coplay followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., St. Peters Catholic Church, Coplay. Call 8:30 to 9:30 a.m., Saturday, in the funeral home. Interment parish cemetery, Whitehall. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, to the church, c/o the funeral home 18037.
