Patricia M. Fiske
Patricia M. Fiske, 90, of Allentown, died on Thursday, November 1, 2012 in the Emeritus of Allentown. Her husband, Carl M. Fiske, died on July 31, 2001. Born in Dallas, TX, she was the daughter of the late James and Teresa McCarthy. She was an active member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown and was a former member of the Cathedral Church of St. Catharine of Siena, Allentown. Pat loved the theatre, having sat on the Board of Directors and acted in many plays at the Allentown Civic Theatre. She was also involved with the Pennsylvania Playhouse, Guthsville Theatre and Munopco Theatre. She was active in PA Pro-Life and was a volunteer for Meals on Wheels. She was a graduate of Business School in New York prior to taking the position of Secretary to the Commanding Officer at the Port of Embarkation during World War II. Pat also worked as a secretary at Lehigh University and Allentown General Hospital. Survivors: Daughters, Gail Shugart and her husband Brian of Alpine, TX, Nancy Azar and her husband David of Allentown, and Mary Sweeney and her husband David of Breinigsville; sons, James Fiske and his wife Mary Lou of Orefield, Thomas Fiske of Breinigsville, and Peter Fiske and his wife Kerry of Brisbane, Australia; 12 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Paul J. in 2011; and granddaughter, Dana Azar in 1985. Services: 11 a.m., Friday, Mass of Christian Burial, St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Allentown. Call 10 to 11 a.m., Friday in the church. Interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville. Arrangements by Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, Allentown.
