Paul J. Fisher, 76, of Allentown, passed away on Sunday, May 12, 2013, in Allentown. Paul was the husband of Marlene M. (Kiss) Fisher and they celebrated their 50th anniversary on Saturday, May 11. Born in Allentown, Paul was the son of the late Paul P. and Emma (Weber) Fisher. Paul was an electrician maintenance mechanic for the US Postal Service in Florida prior to transferring the the Lehigh Valley and retiring in 2000. He was a member of St. John the Baptist Slovak Catholic Church in Allentown. Paul served in the US Navy as an Aviation Electrician aboard the USS Ticonderoga. He was a member of American Legion Post 215 in Catasauqua, and Post 376 in Fullerton. Paul volunteered for SPCA on Dixon Street in Allentown. Survivors: Surviving with his wife, Marlene; are sons, Jim in Allentown, John and his wife, Allison, in Orlando, FL, and Joe and his wife, Erin Marie, in North Wales, PA. Paul had four grandchildren, Leah, Aubree, Sean, and Colin. He was predeceased by his sister, Rosemary Ernst. Services: A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Thursday, May 16, 2013, at 10:30 a.m., in St. John The Baptist. Calling will be on Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. in the church vestibule. Arrangements entrusted to the ODonnell Funeral Home, Allentown. Contributions: In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the , 121 City Line Rd., Bethlehem, PA 18018.
