Richard J. Martz, 83, of Coopersburg died on December 20, 2012 at home. The husband of the late Gloria J. (Leh) Martz. Richard was a member of Chestnut Hill Church, Coopersburg and was a member of the choir. He served in the US Army during the Korean War. Richard worked at Air Products in the tool crib and shipping department for 39 years. Survivors: Stepchildren, Jean Schenck, wife of Donald of Indianapolis, IN, Melcina Chontofalsky, wife of Paul of Coopersburg, Karen Godiska, wife of John of Emmaus, Gloria Arndt, wife of Dennis of Emmaus, Kenneth E. Moser, Jr., his fiance Beverly Detwiler of Coopersburg, Shirley Trexler, wife of Dennis of Coopersburg, Diane Tankred, wife of Charles of Wooster, OH; brother, Harry Martz of Allentown; sister, Kay Knoblach of Alabama; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great granddaughter; four nieces; and one nephew. Predeceased by two brothers, Robert Martz and William Martz, Jr. Services: Funeral Service on Sunday, December 23, 2012 at 3 p.m. in the Church, 6870 Chestnut Hill Church Rd., Coopersburg, viewing 2 to 3 p.m. in the Church.
