Richard B. Moyer
Richard B. Moyer, 83, of Allentown died peacefully in his home November 16, 2012. Born in October 1929 in Sellersville, PA, he was the son of the late Earl and Hattie Mae (Beaver) Moyer. Richard attended Lebanon Valley College and later earned a masters degree from Lehigh University. Richard served in the US Army Signal Corp during the Korean War, and later worked as an elementary school teacher. A life-long resident of Pennsylvania, Richard enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing, camping, and walking along the Appalachian Trail. He was the widower of Betty (Snavely) Moyer. Survivors: Five sons, Daniel of Breaux Bridge, LA, Paul of Catskill, NY, John of Claremore, OK, Matthew and Thomas, both of Allentown; and four grandchildren. Services: Will be private.
