Robert Mark Manley, age 70, of Clemmons, NC died Friday, August 9, 2013, at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on October 15, 1942 to the late Dr. Thomas Clinton Manley and Norell Startup Manley. Bob graduated from Drexel University and worked for many years as Director of the Human Relations Commission for the city of Allentown, PA. In later years he had a replacement window and door company. His last full time employment was as a driver for Trans-Bridge Bus lines. Bob was passionate about tennis and music, especially music of faith. He sang with the Clemmons Moravian Church choir and Mens Chorus of Home Moravian Church. He was also an active bandsman with several Moravian bands. Survivors: Survived by his wife, Jane Snyder Manley; children, Meredith Page Kress and husband, Ted, Christopher Clinton Manley and wife, Bipasha; grandchildren, Abigayle Kress, Teddy Kress, Devan Manley, and Priya Manley; nephew, Mark Manley; and niece, Melissa Manley. Services: Memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 14, at 2 p.m. at Clemmons Moravian Church with the Rev. Ray Burke officiating. The family will receive friends at the church following the service. Arrangements are by Salem Funeral and Cremation Services.
