Scott Carraher, 50, of Macungie, went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 5, 2013, in the loving arms of his wife and children. While attending Emmaus, he was named a First Team All-State Lineman and was chosen to play in the Pennsylvania Big 33 Game. Scott graduated in the class of 1980. He went on to receive a football scholarship from The Pennsylvania State University, where he was honored to be a member of the schools first NCAA National Championship Football team. In 1984, Scott graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in business before accepting a position with Browning Manufacturing. He continued his career at Bobker Bearings of New Jersey, and at the time of his passing was the Northeast Regional Sales Director for ASCO Numatics Emerson Industrial Automation Division. Scott was an active member of Bethel Church, where he was a leader of Boys Brigade and a sunday school teacher. He was also a beloved coach of EYA football and basketball. He was passionate about his children, helping his family and friends, going to the beach, and playing his favorite sports such as basketball, softball, and golf. Survivors:
