Scott C. Eck, 52, of Allentown, died on Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in his home. He was the husband of Bonita L. (Gornick) Eck. The couple would have celebrated 23 years of marriage on July 7th. Born in Emmaus, he was the son of the late William H. and Arlene M. (Liebensperger) Eck. He was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Allentown, and was a graduate of Parkland High School. Scott was a Relief Operator at Nestle Purina, formerly ALPO, in Allentown for the last 31 years. Scott was an avid hunter and loved the outdoors. Survivors: Wife; children, Luis A Vazquez Jr. and Genny M. Vazquez; grandchildren, Joseph and Areseli Cartagena, and Mykil and Jason Vazquez; and great-grandchildren, Gianni and Arianna. Services: Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m., Saturday, Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, Allentown. A viewing will be held on Friday from 6 to 8 p.m., in Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 17th and Hamilton Streets, Allentown and from 9:30 to 10 a.m., Saturday, in the church.
