Stanley E. Pollitt, 88, of Allentown, died on December 3, 2012, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest. The husband of Betty J. (Frantz) Pollitt, they were married 66 years on April 20th. Stanley was born in Allentown, son of the late Archibald and Mattie Mae (Poe) Pollitt. He served in the US Army during World War II. Stanley was the co-owner of Peterson Seafood in Allentown and earlier worked at the Bethlehem Steel Company. He was a member of Jordan UCC in Allentown. Stanley was Past President of the Lehman Lake Rod and Gun, former director of the Lehigh Valley Club, life member of the Hogans Social Club, member of the Greenleaf Masonic Lodge 561 and Royal Order of Jesters-Allentown Corp. Survivors: Wife, Betty; son, Keith, husband of Linda, of Breiningsville; daughters, Cheryl E. Sinclair, wife of Roger of Neffs and Corey Pollitt, of Allentown; four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Predeceased by a daughter, Judy L. DallaPiazza. Services: Graveside Service, on Friday, December 7, 2012, at 11 a.m., in Woodlawn Cemetery 1500 Airport Road in Allentown. Funeral arrangements are by the Sell-Herron Funeral Home and Herron Crematory in Allentown. Contributions: In lieu of flowers to Jordan UCC, 1837 Church Road Allentown, PA 18104.
