Boettinger, William J. "Speedy"
William J. "Speedy" Boettinger, 60, of Danielsville, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014, from injuries he sustained in a vehicular accident in Scott Township, Columbia County. Born in Wilson Borough on August 27, 1953, he was a son of the late Richard J. Sr. and Frances (Naugle) Boettinger. William attended Easton High School, and later honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War
. He was a truck driver for 40 years, and currently employed by Horwith Trucking Co. of Northampton for 21 years. William enjoyed motorcycles and loved his pet Huskies. Survivors: He is survived by his loving daughter, Laurie A. Boettinger of Hanover Township; a granddaughter, Leah; his brother, Richard J. Boettinger, Jr. of Easton; his sister, Diane Thatcher of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; two (2) nieces and a nephew. Services: Will be private, at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., Village of Moorestown - Bath.
