William J. "Speedy" Boettinger(1953 - 2014)

Boettinger, William J. "Speedy"William J. "Speedy" Boettinger, 60, of Danielsville, passed away on Monday, June 30, 2014, from injuries he sustained in a vehicular accident in Scott Township, Columbia County. Born in Wilson Borough on August 27, 1953, he was a son of the late Richard J. Sr. and Frances (Naugle) Boettinger. William attended Easton High School, and later honorably served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a truck driver for 40 years, and currently employed by Horwith Trucking Co. of Northampton for 21 years. William enjoyed motorcycles and loved his pet Huskies. Survivors: He is survived by his loving daughter, Laurie A. Boettinger of Hanover Township; a granddaughter, Leah; his brother, Richard J. Boettinger, Jr. of Easton; his sister, Diane Thatcher of Winston-Salem, North Carolina; two (2) nieces and a nephew. Services: Will be private, at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements have been entrusted to the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., Village of Moorestown - Bath.
