So many fond memories of the Wayfarer back in the day. George introduced me to some really great people back then and he always had that way of keeping a positive vibe. So many great laughs and he'll not be forgotten. Sorry to all his family also. See you on the other side George!

I just heard about George's passing and am deeply saddened. He was such a great man with an even greater heart. The last time I saw him he insisted on buying my lunch and wouldn't take no for an answer. That's the kind of guy he was. I'm sad I wasn't able to return the gesture. Rest in peace Georgie and don't worry about table 32B. That's my section :)

George, I'm so grateful that i got to see you in Boston this past Christmas. I will always remember what a talented artist and designer you were. I will never forget when you sketched me over 20 years ago. You blew my mind away. Also to be a part of your fashion show was a great memory for me. I will never forget how much you loved that night... You have inspired me to do the same in my own creative life. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family. I will miss you and I am proud to call you my friend. May you rest in peace.

I am proud to call you a friend. I've known you for 13 years. You were really sweet and warm to me - no matter the occasion - you made me feel special. I always knew your heart was broken - but you managed to make everyone smile - without fail. Your wit and spirit will live on. Wherever you are now - your heart is at peace. If there is a place like 29 there - please save my corner stool.

George,

I can't believe your gone. You have left us much too soon. You were the 1st friend I had met in Boston. Our 29 Newbury days were some of my favorite memories. You took me under your wings and showed me that life is about living it to the fullest. You were artistic, expressive, articulate and never once had u ever a bad thing to say about anyone. You have brought joy to many and now we are sad you have departed us.
You will definitely be missed, but never forgotten. Thanks for the joy you have shared with me and for so many.
