Betty Rodgers Obituary
Betty J. Rodgers, 88, of Moravians Kings Daughters Home and formerly of Bethlehem Township passed away on Saturday, February 9, 2013 in St Lukes Hospital. She was the beloved wife of the late Charles O. Rodgers, who died in 2003. Born in Philadelphia, she was the only child of the late Samuel H. and Elsie M. (Kilpatrick) Moorehead. Betty was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bethlehem and a former member of the Chelten Baptist Church in Dresher, PA. A graduate of Germantown High School, she worked in Administration at the Chestnut Hill Hospital for several years. Survivors: Her loving family include, a son, C. Scott Rodgers and his wife, Sara of Hanover Township; and grandchildren, Ann Aylmer and her husband, Mike and John Rodgers and his fiancee Kelly McNamara. Services: Funeral Services will be held 10 a.m., Thursday, February 14, 2013 in the First Baptist Church, 3235 Linden St., Bethlehem, PA 18017, where friends may call from 9 a.m. until time of service.
