Clifford E. Lake, Jr.
Clifford E. Lake, Jr., 80, of Allentown, passed away Friday, December 6, 2013, at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, S. Whitehall Twp. He was the husband of the late Nancy C. (Taylor) Lake. Born in Lockport, NY, he was the son of the late Clifford E. Sr. and Vivian (Wagoner) Lake, and the step son of Mina Lake. Before retiring, he worked for Securitas Security Services, patrolling at Mack Trucks and other businesses in the Lehigh Valley for 24 years. Formerly he was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Allentown. While living in NY, he enlisted in the Army Reserve. He enjoyed wildlife, was an avid hunter, fisherman and animal lover. Survivors: Daughters, Diana, wife of John D. Ingram of Lockport, NY, Cheryl, wife of Richard Newhard of Allentown, Cathy, wife of Joseph Borath III, of Allentown, Brenda, wife of Thomas Kale of Allentown, Tammy, wife of James Gilbert of Lansford, PA, Stephanie, wife of Bill Spengler, Sr., of Allentown; brother, Charles of NC; sisters, Caroline Kerchival of Saluda, NC, Joyce Schneck of Lebanon, PA; 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild. He was predeceased by sons, Clifford III, and Richard Alan, and brother Richard. Services: Memorial, 2 p.m., Thursday, December 12, at Trexler Funeral Home, 1625 Highland St., Allentown.
