Evelyn I. Kern
Evelyn I. Kern, 95, formerly of Bath and Nazareth, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 09, 2014, at Gracedale. Born in Nazareth on February 25, 1918, she was a daughter of the late Luther and Amanda E. (Buskirk) Eberts. Evelyn worked as a spinner for the former Kraemer Textiles for 45 years before retiring. Previously, she was employed by Universal Pants. She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ, Nazareth and served on the choir. Additionally, she was a member of the Sweet Adeline and Humoresque Quartets. Evelyn will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by her family and friends. Survivors: She is survived by her nieces, Linda Kocher of Klecknersville and Joanne Rinker of Nazareth; a nephew, Donald Reppert and his wife, Judy of Tatamy; great-niece, Kay Unangst and her fiance, James Whisner of Bath; great-great-niece, Victoria; along with additional great-nieces and great-newphews. She was preceded in death by her two (2) sisters, Mildred Eberts and Anna Mae Reppert. Services: will be held on Monday, January 13, 2014, at 2:30 p.m. in the George G. Bensing Funeral Home, Inc., 2165 Community Drive, Route 946, Village of Moorestown-Bath, PA 18014. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Monday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Fairview Cemetery, Moorestown. Contributions: may be made in memory of Evelyn to The Center for Animal Health & Welfare, 1165 Island Park Road, Easton, PA 18042.

Our family just loved this woman and her family. No truer, loyal person I have ever known and I have known Evelyn my entire life. She was one of my fathers best friends. There are no doubts that there are many loving open arms greeting her on the other side.
