Dave and Joyce,

My condolences on the passing your father recently. His life appeared to be one of fulfillment for him and all those that he came in contact with, both in his professional and his personal life. His love of the Lord flows clearly through his lifelong journey. May his memories be with you and your family during this difficult time and in times going forward.

Saddened to hear of John's "home going". Although he wouldn't agree, if there ever was a "Saint John", he was and is ! We know where he is and we'll see him again !

My sincere condolences to the Deily family on the loss of a great man, and great public servant. John conducted my background investigation preceding my start with the APD. He later was my supervisor when I was promoted to detective. I learned a great deal from John...about being a good police officer but more importantly...about being a good human being.
May God rest his soul.

Dear Deily family. It was a priviledge to know John and have him as a Sunday School. My life has been blessed by him. My thoughts and prayers are with the family.

My deepest condolences on your loss. I recall John as a great public servant and one who epitomized what a detective should be. He was truly a professional on the job and while always firm, he was equally fair and had compassion for the public he served.

To the Deily family,

It was an honor to work with John. He was an excellent Detective and Mentor to many young officers throughout his career. He possessed a unique ability to convince the most hardened criminal to admit their wrongdoing and he did it in a soft spoken yet direct manner.

He was also a great husband, father and grandfather who was admired by everyone who knew him.

Our thoughts and prayers are with you.

To the Deily Family,
I was privileged to be a member of his Sunday School class when we used to meet at Bethel as he was a true and faithful servant of the Lord and an excellent teacher. We also served on the Board of Elders for a number of years and his words of wisdom and his prayers were always a big asset to our meetings.
May the Lord be ever near to you at this time as you go through this difficult time of bereavement.
