Laylin James Obituary
Laylin Knox James, Jr., 86, of Green Valley, AZ, and longtime resident of Easton, PA, passed away on December 26. Dr. James was a Professor Emeritus of Chemistry at Lafayette College, where he taught from 1959 to 1990. He edited Nobel Laureates in Chemistry, 1901-1992. Survivors: His wife, Mary Lou; children, Susan, Julia, Sarah (Eric), and Jeffrey (Sue); and grandchildren, Alice, Heather, Nils, Emily, Stefan, and Lily. Contributions: Gifts to honor his legacy may be sent to Lafayette College, 307 Markle Hall, Easton, PA 18042.
