Margaret A. Schwab, 87, of the Moravian Village, Bethlehem, and formerly of Hellertown and Broomall, passed away December 12, 2013. She was the widow of Julius C. Schwab. Born in Allentown, she was a daughter of the late Franklin and Berta (Hafner) Ernst. Margaret was a 1944 graduate of Central Catholic High School. She was a secretary for the former L.F. Grammes & Sons, Allentown. She was a member of Assumption, B.V.M. Church, in Bethlehem. Margaret enjoyed bowling, gardening and landscaping. She was a wonderful cook and had an extensive teddy bear collection. Survivors: Children, Dr. Thomas Schwab, and his wife, Anne, of Coatesville, Karen Henry PhD, and her husband, Tom, of Sharon, MA, Judy, wife of Maurice Kelly, of Hellertown, and David Schwab, and his wife, Christine, of Cape Charles, VA; eight grandchildren, Ted (his wife, Christina), Laura, Dann, Julie, Kevin, Colleen, Victoria, and Samantha; and nieces and nephews, including Gail Heller, of Allentown. She was pre-deceased by sisters, Hilda Suldrich and Emma Handwerk. Services: A Funeral Mass will be at 10 a.m. on Monday at Assumption B.V.M. Church, 4101 Old Bethlehem Pike, Bethlehem. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday at the Falk Funeral Homes & Crematory, 1418 Main Street, Hellertown, PA and from 9 to 9:45 a.m. Monday at church.
