I was very saddened to hear that Stan passed away. I went to school with him and graduated from SWHS with him in the class of 1966. Stan was always upbeat and had a great sense of humor, and was a great high school athlete. I will always remember Stan, Ronnie and Kenny running down the court for another score. I have only seen Stan over the years at various reunions, but based on all the wonderful guest book comments, he had a rewarding and caring life and is loved and respected by all those who knew him. My deepest sympathy to his mother, daughters and family. Stan, rest in peace.

I worked with Stan at DHL and continued to keep in touch with him after we both moved on. He was a great source of support & care to me when he found out my husband had cancer. As was his nature, he would offer us advise and guidance and love during our journey. He helped me in more ways personally and professionally then I could ever note here. I loved him very much and this has left a whole in my heart

Steve and Sue Gassert

November 2, 2013

I remember the day Steve came home from work and said he met this man today and if there was one word to best describe him it would be "AWESOME". I than had the opportunity of meeting this man myself and knew Steve's word choice was exactly that "AWESOME". We shared many good times we will cherish in our hearts forever. Stan, you were a true friend to us both and our lives will never be the same, but one thing for sure, you enriched and blessed our lives with your true friendship, and for that, we are forever grateful. Our thoughts and prayers to family and friends.
