Obituary Condolences

Teresa A. Ferraro
Teresa A. Ferraro, 71, of Lower Saucon Twp., passed away peacefully on July 31, 2012 in her home beside her children, Pablo and Ana Maria. Born into a tight knit family in Cochabamba, Bolivia, she was the eldest of six siblings. Teresa fulfilled her childhood dream of living in the United States at the age of 19 when she joined the U.S. Department and later the Peace Corp. as one of the first Spanish language instructors in the Corp. She later worked for Northampton Countys Hispanic Senior Citizen Center for several years before culminating her professional career serving as a hard-hitting case worker for the Welfare Department. Teresas greatest loves in life have been her children and extended family above all. She is the strongest and most determined woman to have ever graced this family. She will forever serve as the ultimate teacher and example of perseverance, composure and everything that is correct. Survivors: Son, Pablo Ferraro; and daughter, Ana Maria Ferraro both of Lower Saucon Twp. Services: Friends may call in the Long Funeral Home, 500 Linden Street, Bethlehem, Saturday, August 4, from 2:30 to 3 p.m. with prayers to be offered at 3 p.m. A memory tribute may be placed at www.longfuneralhome.com
