Thomas Bolasky Obituary
Thomas F. Bolasky, 87, of Macungie, passed away Thursday, December 5, 2013 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the husband of Anne L. (Frye) Bolasky. They celebrated their 63rd wedding anniversary last May. Thomas was born in Allentown a son of the late Thomas and Emma H. (Zangl) Bolasky. He was a tool & die maker, machinist and mold maker for B. Braun Medical Inc. of Bethlehem for 15 years before retiring in 2000. Previously he was employed by the former General Electric, Allentown, for 22 years. Thomas was a graduate of Allentown High School Class of 1945. He received his Associates Degree in Liberal Arts from LCCC in 1987. He was an U.S. Army Veteran of World War II. Thomas was a former member of St. Annes Catholic Church, Emmaus. He served as a council member with the Boy Scouts in Macungie. Tom enjoyed golfing, wood-working, Civil War history, music, travel, and gardening. Survivors: Wife; sons, Douglas R. husband of Linda Bolasky of Allentown and Dale A. Bolasky of Lancaster; daughter-in-law, Brenda Bolasky widow of Thomass son, David M. Bolasky; brothers, James J. husband of Elaine Bolasky of Promised Land, PA and Richard husband of Joan Bolasky of Orlando, FL; grandchildren, Amy M. Bolasky-Skinner wife of Greg, Katharine A. Bolasky, Emily Bolasky-Reitnour wife of Michael, Audrey S. and Andrew D. Bolasky; great-grandchildren, Marielle Grace Skinner and Raegan Crane Reitnour. Services: Private at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in the St. Pauls Cemetery, Trexlertown. I liked your Dad very much and am deeply saddened for your loss. Know that he is now free in God's warm embrace. Always by your side and watching over all of you.
I will always think of your Dad each Summer whenever I pass a Farmers Market with freshly grown Tomatoes. Much like his own Garden at home. RIP Tom.
