Avatine Kohler
Avatine Kohler 89, died Wednesday, November 21, 2012, at the Phoebe Home Allentown, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimers disease. Born in Allentown she was the daughter of the late Monroe and Eva (Jacobs) Yarnall. She was preceded in death by her husband Kermit C. Kohler, and brother, Marvin. She was a member of St. Johns UCC in Emmaus. Survivors: Avie will be lovingly remembered by her daughters, Debbie Serensits and her husband Lou, Candy Falkenau and her husband Larry; grandchildren Tom Serensits and wife Tammy, Kristin Bennighoff and her husband Cris, Alyson Lorenz, and David Lorenz; great- grandchildren Matthew and Justin Bennighoff; and her sister Delphine Peters.The family would especially like to thank the caring staff at Bridgeways at the Phoebe Home.
